Q) How do I upload my website?

A) There are a variety of ways of uploading your website, some web design packages allow you to publish directly from them. Other people prefer the flexibility and control that you have from using a seperate FTP program. There is a walkthrough for configuring FTP Explorer which is a popular free FTP client available here.

Q) Why do I have these folders, htdocs, log and cgi-bin in my web space?

A) The directories have special meanings as follows:

1) htdocs: Which is where you put all of your viewable website.

2) cgi-bin: Which is where any server side scripts run from
logs : Which stores logfile information

Q) I've been looking around for a web host where I can offer mp3s for download. Please advise whether allsecuredomains.com will permit this in any of their hosting packages.

A) All Secure Domains will allow you to host non-copyrighted mp3's, ie music that was created and owned by you. Copyrighted material would be removed from our servers and could result in your account being disabled.
